Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 1354
figurant, luthier, polyonymous, juggernaut
The old luthier made for me and my simian arms a juggernaut of a viola, bigger, more powerful by far than the familiarly oversize Tertis model; so I called him/her variously Fortis, Quintis, or Sextis, as his/her fulsome, polyonymous character required, since he/she had the capacity to assume many guises, none of them in the least conventionally figurant or humbly supportive, for as soon as bow hair brushed string the auditorium would immediately be excited into sympathetic resonance, generating standing waves of clamorous ovation.
