His arms were succumbing to the dreaded metamorphosis, but our hero, not yellow in the least, and quite expert at resolving Gordian Knots, managed to use his legs—recalling a wrestling move known as The Brachyuran—to pinch and fatally crush his opponent, thus ending the villain's Halloween plot to inflict apocolocyntosis on all the innocent children of Pleasantville, and allowing the town's sleepless homemakers to resume their circadian rituals... as if nothing had really happened, as if the storm had been but a zephyr, as if an off-his-gourd sorcerer had never actually threatened the mass pumpkinfication of the town's precious babes, and life had always been easy as pie.
