Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 1449
epigraph, bursiform, infra dig, gizmo
We are lucky that our esteemed architect did not reject this project--the design of a suburban shopping mall--as infra dig; instead, he has given us a pioneering bursiform edifice (that’s right, shaped just like a shopper’s handbag), he has filled his "Purse" with futuristic gizmos designed to tittilate shoppers, and he has boldly reconceived the traditional epigraph as a two-story concrete shopping list that appears to be slipping out of the open zipper at the top of the structure.
