Butterfly bombs, ochre-colored for use in the middle east, could also be dropped on grain crops at harvest time, reducing to their component minims any farm-workers who tripped over them and, somewhat tangentially, shortening the process of turning wheat into zweibacks by instantly imparting a twice-baked crispness to the standing grain, not to mention the combined odoriferousness of newly-baked bread and roasted farmers making the countryside for miles around smell like lunch.
