Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 1714
raca, tight as a tick, mayhap, subaudition
Mayhap if old Uncle Solly, on the scrounge as usual, had had even a soupcon of faith in our powers of subaudition he wouldn't have felt the need so to spell out his disapproval of Bella's cousin Harry ('klainer gornisht!') as both raca and tight as a tick - an oxymoron that happily escaped him in his moment of need.
