Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 1875
sinopia, corrigendum, boustrophedon, hopscotch
The author's first draft was a promising sketch, a verbal sinopia suggesting a great fresco of prose to come, but in his second draft he changes his mind as often as a boustrophedon switches direction; in the published version (worse yet) he argues aimlessly, as if playing hopscotch; and in the corrigendum he makes more mistakes than he corrects.
