Quandary Resolution 1883
brank, toggle, eddy, ineffable
As the poet labored to suggest the ineffable beauty of a perfect dawn, her attention, till now coasting on ethereal birdsong, was suddenly caught and carried backwards by an eddy of sound from her snoring boyfriend's nose, a nose which could not be toggled off through gentle means, and so, in the interest of poetry, she devised a makeshift brank for the nose from rough sandpaper and a loosened clothespin.
