Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 1914
meiny, logological, mendacious, slugabed
Your Honor, the defendant has portrayed himself before this court as a saint – an early riser, a diligent breadwinner for his family, and an honest employer of his thirty some-odd domestic assistants – and to disprove this ridiculous claim I will spare his meiny the trauma of appearing together or individually on the witness stand, for a simple logological analysis of the defendant's name reveals what is obvious to anyone who shares his residence, and what should be obvious to the court: Mr. Bum Fibber is a mendacious slugabed, and so I rest my case.
