Quandary Resolution 1921
onomancy, nether, notch, inchoate
Any accession to such arcanely addlebrained pastimes as tasseomancy, rhabdomancy, lecanomancy and necromancy can only lower a person a notch in the estimation of rational sceptics such as myself, so I really had to bite my nether lip when up she comes with the inchoate, hare-brained notion of naming our firstborn Charity, apparently having faith that, as an impressively loony onomancer and acrophonologist, great-aunt Stingebag would sooner or later divine our daughter's nominal pressing need, and shell out bigtime . . . some hope, eh!
