Quandary Resolution 1930
hagiolatry, has-been, incognito, kvetch
At the height of his career, the comedian inspired such hagiolatry in fans that he had to travel incognito (for him, this meant restraining his unmistakable whining humor, and wearing a suit instead of his signature St. Sebastian costume), but now that he's just a has-been, he can kvetch about the burdens of martyrdom and sainthood – anywhere, anytime – he can even board a plane with arrows in his side, and no one notices.
