As for the film score, it is ear candy of worst sort, for while its intention is to appeal, its effect is to infect: see, as I try to describe its pleonastic lyrics, I fall into repetitive redundancy, and as I try to comment on its maudlin sentiment, I start to sweat in self-pity; to cool off, I would fast run naked through an icy fog, if only there were pogonips here in Pleasantville!
