Quandary Resolution 2093
exogamy, tussock, woolgathering, prosopography
In my recent prosopographical study of interbreeding amongst the haemophiliac landed gentry I did come across the occasional morganatic liaison, such pragmatic exogamy perhaps best exemplified by young Lord Featherstonehaugh who, after years of desultory woolgathering on the Grand Tour, returned home to marry not the Cholmondeley girl, but little Miss Mussock, a lowborn arachnophobic whom he encountered mid-sward astride a tussocky knoll.
