Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 2105
tautology, pensive, quincunx, boondocks
When I said "I can't follow these directions because I don't know North from South," the boondocks resident was pensive for a minute, then placed "W," "N," "S," "E" and "You," in a quincunx on my hand-drawn map, and said, "If you follow your directions, now you should find your direction," which sounded a tautology to me-- wasn't it?
