Quandary Resolution 2580
taradiddle, double act, nonplus, bumptious
After the investigative TV program '40-Minutes-If-You-Exclude-The-Commercials' doggedly pursued for years and eventually unmasked the double act known as The TresFaux Twins as "a sad tale of a little taradiddle" by revealing that the "twins" were in fact completely unrelated, the Twins' agent Snarky Sharkey was nonplussed for a whole week until he declared bumptiously that he had known about it all along and that it was not unusual to represent non-twins as twins "as in for example the Minnesota Twins or the proverbial Swedish twins."
