So I bivouaced at her place (what a dump!) thinking we'd pass the night with some pleasant osculation if nothing more, but get this – she wouldn't kiss me before knowing my financial status and she didn't buy my story about being the dauphin of the King of Ruritania and so, although I consider myself an expert fibber, I was forced to confess that even Homer nods.
