Quandary Resolution 2769
dowlas, palustral, shivaree, effloresce
I listened to the old man raving about his wedding day, how his bride was clad in a frock of dowlas that seemed to him like the finest linen, how the shivaree transformed into celestial lyrics sung by angels, and how the palustral yard surrounding the crumbling church effloresced before his eyes, and I hoped I would be as much of an unrealistic romantic when I reached his age.
