Though the plicate limestone formations in the Tsingi of Bemaraha Nature Reserve seem like they would nettle any creature that moves about looking for pittance in the harsh landscape, the preservation of these formations is germane to the survival of the lemur population that inhabits this beautiful Madagascaran world heritage site.
