Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 278
nettle, plicate, pittance, germane
Though the plicate limestone formations in the Tsingi of Bemaraha Nature Reserve
seem like they would nettle any creature that moves about looking for pittance in the harsh landscape,
the preservation of these formations is germane to the
survival of the lemur population that inhabits this beautiful Madagascaran world heritage site.
