Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 2830
parky, dénouement, breadbasket, misnomer
"The night was so parky, I could feel it in my breadbasket" is the famous first line of Dörk Flemgren's classic mystery novel "L is for Dyslexia"; though to my mind, both "parky" and "breadbasket" are misnomers, bearing little relation to the things they describe (by the way, not to give away the dénouement of that story, but it turns out the murderer is Farquar, the cross-dressing Lebanese midget with the monocle and jackhammer in Chapter 2).
