Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 2895
didgeridoo, anabasis, mumblety-peg, foist
Saturdays mean only one thing to me as Akela - a good long blow on the old didgeridoo to sound the six o'clock reveille for the cubs, then off on an invigorating ten-mile anabasis to the hills where, circled round the campfire in the gloaming, we all play mumblety-peg with my stock of incredibly sharp swiss army knives (Bridges Junior still bears a nasty scar), for I won't foist cheap imitations on my troop.
