Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 2978
micawber, velleity, supposititious, haw
my name Micawber became synomynous with 'optimistic' long before Kleenex became synonymous with tissue, Xerox with photocopying, and Google with internet searching but unlike these others, I had no velleity for fortune, no ambition for fame, no greed for monopoly profits, and I longed merely for some peace and just enough food for my family while that obsequious and supposititious thief Uriah Heep, speaking humbly but without once hawing, usurped everything from under Mr. Wickfield's nose.
