Quandary Resolution 3022
collier, bicameral, flivver, gumption
In the final presidential debate featuring Governor Mitt Palin and yours truly, the Governor played up his life narrative as a self-made working man, who started out as a collier and rose through his own toil and sweat and he criticized me as "the Senator from Nebraska, a state with a legislature which does not even have the gumption to be bicameral" and he further derided my campaign proposals as "a Yugo-like flivver at a time when the country needs a big tough American-built truck".
