Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 3096
coronary, apposite, apocryphal, polemic

When I had my first coronary - just as I was downing another pint of mine host's amber nectar at the old Crown & Sceptre - there I was all doubled up with these terrible chest pains, but Jim somehow seems to think it apposite at that moment to ask offhandedely if I'd like a game of snooker, whereupon Bert launches into a polemic about the evident superiority of billiards, even going so far as to claim that Mozart wrote music while playing the game - which I remember thinking, as the paramedics arrived,  was apocryphal, and no doubt just another of Bert's famous porkies.
