On our blind date, I found to my early displeasure that she seemed to suffer from a rare form of phantom tracheoesophageal fistula, for each spoonful of mulligatawny soup caused her to choke and liberally bespatter everything before her, primarily my good self; whereupon I advanced the precatory observation that, for our prematurely ruptured relationship to be successfully cicatrised, she might - by way of parergon to such spasmodic ejaculations - possibly contrive to avail herself of the large bucket that, even as I spoke, the management was hurriedly providing.
