Quandary Resolution 3228
euthanize, effusive, Aesopian, dorsal
There were those who effusively clamored for Snodberg's euthanization on the grounds that his dorsal fin "was an inhuman abomination," but I never agreed with this point of view: to me the fin always carried an Aesopian connotation, a sort of living moral about how humans and porpoises are more closely connected than we've been led to believe, and that if push came to shove, the dolphins would "have our backs."
