Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 3234
admix, stipulate, broadside, moot

Imagine my embarrassment when no less a luminary than Deepak Vindaloo--the world-renowned botanist and author of Conversations with Plants--publicly launched a full-scale broadside against me at last year's BotanyCon, asserting with an admixture of astonishment and contempt that I didn't know the difference between a stipule and a node (which to me was a moot point, since most plants with trilacunar nodes have stipules); but I got my revenge on him later that evening, by planting a peyote button in his tandoori chicken.
