Quandary Resolution 3239
intuit, flavorless, exodus, tawdry
In the original first draft of the Book of Exodus, Moses led the Israelites not to the Promised Land, but rather to a tawdry Cairo nightclub; however, the book's editor intuitively sensed that this storyline--while admittedly more lurid and stimulating--might not have quite as much power to inspire a nation; so he brought in a second writer, had him tweak the plot a bit, and the present more moving (if somewhat flavorless) version was the result.
