Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 3288
flannelmouth, medium dead, patina, obscurantism

When Farley had reached what you might call "a nice medium dead," a sort of glaucous patina began to shimmer along the periphery of his doomed lips, signifying that the pajama-like orifice which had so long wearied my ears (for Farley was the worst kind of flannelmouth) was on the verge of giving up the proverbial ghost; and in spite of his long and despicable history of obscurantist tactics (including, but not limited to, thrusting wads of chewing gum into the ears of pygmies, so that they couldn't hear Lady Gaga songs), I actually felt a little sorry for the gangrenous bastard.
