I’d complained to my boss about the operose way of moving our projects through the seemingly obsolete approval process which still used “floppy” diskettes and paper folders, but never expected to react by having nightmares about being a Lusophone chantepleure who roamed the streets of Lisbon, singing about the glories of the electronic age, and weeping about the piles of “hard copies” heaped atop her work station.
