McGurdy’s vision had changed over time and wasn’t what it used to be when he walked into the woods behind the cabin, the far point seeming to be closer and closer and not what he had expected with advancing age, but his inwit let him know if a plant was out of place, and he was well aware of the adventives’ flagrant disregard for native species and their progressive advances onto his home turf.
