Quandary Resolution 3448
duopsony, from the word go, spendthrift, heterotelic

From the word go, a duopsony developed between the United States and China for bottled water products, the American motivation based on its spendthrift ways of putting convenience before all other considerations – such as potential harm to the planet – while China’s idea was more heterotelic, due to a need for clean drinking water for its huge populace, so that the issue of plastic waste and its consequences (such as the need for recycling) was not really part of the discussion.
