Quandary Resolution 3506
wastrel, acculture, propinquity, filiopietistic

“I’m feeling particularly filiopietistic today”, quipped MacTavish, the wastrel son of the nearby town mayor, as he donned his kilt and hummed a Scottish tune before going out for a night’s entertainment; however, despite the propinquity of the village where he had settled (in order to put some distance between himself and his family) and the place where he had grown up, he had not been able to acculture to a religious Jewish community with a different Sabbath day and a pub closed on Friday night.
