Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 3573
goo-goo, begorra, putsch, appertain

My friend Goo-Goo Begorra was a naive advocate of political reform (hence the nickname "Goo-Goo") who once served ten years in Leavenworth (or was it eleven years in Twelveworth...I always forget) for his role in an elaborate putsch aimed at toppling Joan Rivers from power in Guam: an ill-fated plot, appertaining to which it turned out the gullible Goo-Goo had been misinformed on nearly every detail (which, however, didn't stop him from unleashing a torrent of oaths, imprecations and begorras against the bewildered Rivers, as he was handcuffed and led away by authorities).
