I didn’t begrudge him taking a little time off after his kneecap was luxated during a soccer match; however, I became more concerned about Steve finishing the project when he began to have episodes of lagrimae rerum for no apparent reason, but I finally realized we were in big trouble when he showed up for our meeting with the clients in full dress regalia looking like one of the Beatles from the Sgt. Pepper album, wearing epaulets he reportedly ripped from the shoulders of the doorman at the Carlton Arms.
