Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 3656
machinate, wry, resile, boon

"Your feeble machinations are no match for a spy of my resilience," boasted Sackner wryly, as he deftly dodged my poisoned dart; and this show of contemptuous bravado was a boon to me, as it gave me time to load a second projectile, which connected squarely with Sackner's jugular, bringing him coughing and spluttering to his knees, begging for cheese (for such was the curious effect of this particular type of dart, that anyone struck by it felt an immediate and overpowering need for a slice of Gruyere).
