Jean Pierre, the premier trapeze artist in the small French circus, was sidelined with the flu but he still could grok what was happening when he heard the “alley-oop” from on high; however, he groused about his apparent sudden onset of prosopagnosia when he was unable to discern who was performing above him, until he realized why he couldn’t make out the flyers’ faces and exclaimed, “Alors, I am missing the spectacle because I have forgotten my spectacles!”.
