Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 3673
toot sweet, roundabout, rash, sylph

As my head slipped below the surface of the water, with my “cement overshoes” dragging me down to the bottom of the river to “rest with the fishies” -- and the bald tires, beer cans, and assorted other discards, my life flashed before my eyes, and I reconsidered (too late) my rash decision to liberate that lovely sylph daughter of Bugsy Fowler who smiled at me so sweetly every morning in the servants’ dining area of the kitchen when she came down to fetch the coffee pot, and why I ever thought that an escape from an overbearing father and criminal mastermind could be pulled off in such a roundabout fashion -- as if he’d really believe she needed my help carrying her packages when she went shopping -- but I couldn’t bear to hear him bellow at her one more time, “Another beer, girl – toot sweet!”.
