Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 3723
bluff, capias, gregarious, agnomen
Once the cunning Norsmacker had seen through my bluff (using the agnomen "Officer Cheech," I'd attempted to foist off a chocolate-smudged phone bill as a capias), I had no choice but to fall back on Plan B: I tossed the bogus arrest warrant into the air and, with a fruity and gregarious whoop, began taking off my clothes--thus cleverly creating the illusion I was nothing more than a harmless stripper--rather than the 11th best private investigator in Sheboygan.
