Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 3744
riposte, paratransit, unabashed, adenoidal

Mary Ways was trying hard to hang on to her youth by spending her evenings at a bar frequented by those a decade or two her junior, and her presence might have gone unnoticed if the bartended hadn’t needed to inform her each night that paratransit was there to give her a ride home, but she was unabashed about moving into senior housing when she was too young to carry an AARP card, since there was no age limit on residence, and she was more than happy to announce to anyone that it was a sweet deal -- “the smartest thing I’ve ever done for myself” – and as the night wore on and her voice became more adenoidal from too many cigarettes (and too much booze), her nasal riposte to those who questioned her decision making would be to ask, “and how many of you have a designated driver?”.
