Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 3797
orthogonal, upend, gazette, pip

Rosetta’s photo made the front page of the local gazette after she tripped over her nephew’s skateboard which he had hastily parked just outside the front door, skidded down the front porch handrail and was upended onto a beach ball caught in the rose bushes, bounced up into the maple tree in the front yard, orthogonal to one of the lower branches, which supported a snug little robin’s nest filled with newly hatched baby birds, who began to pip loudly at the unexpected arrival of the large flying creature which had just invaded their home.
