Quandary Resolution 3807
brass ring, thagomizer, menagerie, chrestomathy

When I was in fourth grade, my favorite weekend activity was a visit to the seaside to ride on the old carousel made up of a menagerie of creatures: prancing horses, modern jungle beasts, and animals from the past – like a saber-tooth tiger, a triceratops, and a stegosaurus with its pointy thagomizer tail, and I could stay there for hours, going up and down while reaching for the brass ring to win a prize, or sitting quietly on one of the stationary creatures while reading from my favorite chrestomathy of tales about King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.
