Quandary Resolution 3817
silver lining, antaphrodisiac, epitome, ventose

To the outside world, theirs was the epitome of a well planned and orchestrated marriage ceremony and reception, although quite hectic for those playing the major parts, but the groom managed to ignore the chaos about him by looking forward to what he considered the silver lining of the evening -- a most satisfying wedding night with his new mate -- which, unfortunately, was tarnished by the bride imbibing a great quantity of celebratory champagne, causing her to become quite ventose, which had a most antaphrodisiac effect on her new partner.
