Quandary Resolution 3842
cull, oneironaut, shell game, divulse

St. Dufus, a humble monk who was not wise to the ways of the world, was relaxing at the Tungsten Lemming and indulging himself in a pint of the local ale after a long day’s travel, sitting at the bar with a bunch of average Joes, glass raised to his lips, when she walked in, and immediately all eyes were fixed upon her -- mesmerized, drawn like moths to a flame, and as she surveyed the gathered crowd, he never guessed how he was culled from the rest, and was completely unaware of the part he was about to play in an elaborate shell game as she leaned forward and whispered in his ear, “Saints can also be sinners”, and promised the feckless friar a most pleasurable massage if he would follow her, but after grasping her palm, he felt a sudden tug, and as his cold, clammy hand was divulsed from hers, the sorry oneironaut was propelled into a state of bewildered wakefulness.
