Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 3854
daunt, corniche, catch-22, mewl

The woman began to mewl softly behind the wheel of the Chevy as they drove slowly along the corniche in the gathering gloom of the approaching storm, but Bobby knew that she was daunted by his sudden appearance and more afraid of him and the gun pointed at her head than she was of the weather and the precarious driving conditions as they approached the spot where her late brother had stashed their haul from the bank robbery; however, one catch-22 suddenly dawned upon him – if he eliminated this one witness by tossing her off the cliff into the sea as planned, he would not be able to find his way back into town to make good his escape.
