Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 3873
esthesia, angst, amative, enchiridion

In Falkbeer Oinkblatt's 916-page enchiridion An Illustrated Handbook to the Amative Arts (which somehow won the Artie Fufkin Award for Speculative Fiction in 2004, despite the fact that it's not a fictional work), the author goes into minute detail on everything from angst (what to do when a vague sense of anxiety or apprehension--or just a whiny teenager--gets in the way of your lovemaking) to esthesia (the capacity for sensation: what is it...and what pills do you need to take to get it?); the book scored high on Rotten Avocados, with six readers ot of seven saying they had read at least as far as the front cover, and found it "utterly engrossing."
