Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 3979
corps, chiropterologist, spoonerism, usageaster
My son said one day that he loved 'Manbat', which I mistakenly interpreted as a spoonerism for Batman, and when he later said that he had 'joined a corps of like-minded aficionados of humanoid chiropterology', I remained oblivious to his new interest and sniffed like an ignorant usageaster that he ought to focus on his homework instead of using words that don't exist.
