Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 4085
rapacious, comeuppance, disapprobation, ecru

Simon Legree was notorious for his rapacious acts as an oppressive landlord, and he faced the disapprobation of the whole community for evicting widows and elders from their homes when they had difficulty scraping together enough money to pay the rent, so many thronged to the courthouse to see the evil man receive his comeuppance at the end of a long trial by a jury of his victims; however, instead of a satanic presence, the person who appeared in court was small, meek, attired in an ecru linen summer suit, and looked most like someone’s sweet old grandpa.
