Quandary Resolution 4100
marmoreal, jump down someone's throat, tincture, bollix
We were in the final stages of our construction work at the Park Avenue apartment of a wealthy media baron, when his heavily botoxed wife made another one of her unannounced appearances and jumped down our throat alleging that we had bollixed the paint job in the parlor because it was "not exactly the right tincture", but our architect remained icily marmoreal and advised her that she should remove her sunglasses in order to appreciate all the true colors.
