Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 4170
mense, beefcake, lenticular, anacoluthon

If I started a sentence discussing the merits of presenting Brad Pitt on the cover of a magazine with mense in a designer suit, versus shirtless in a beefcake pose, then switched to discussing my upcoming cataract surgery and the prosthesis that would be inserted as lenticular, or having two convex surfaces, it could be considered an example of anacoluthon – or not?
