Quandary Resolution 4265
kaffeeklatsch, maraud, misnomer, dog-ear

Maude was reluctant to stop reading and begin preparations for the kaffeeklatsch, since she had been so caught up in a narrative about Napoleon’s “liberation army” in Egypt, a misnomer since they were a rather disorganized mob who dragged themselves across the desert without a supply source and needed to maraud in order to survive, but she dog-eared the page as she closed the book and walked into the kitchen.
