All of students – especially the men -- had quite a cathexis with Miss Rox, the sexy, stylish geology lecturer, and Geology 101, so when Professor Emeritus Greystone -- overweight, whiskered, and clad in a moth-eaten baggy sweater – trundled into the room to discuss diapirs, there was a collective sigh and everyone hunkered down and prepared to be bored, but after an hour’s phantasmagoria of quickly changing PowerPoint slides and accompanying music, the whole class stood and applauded
